There has been lots of discussion about PLR articles already. A lot of people advise you against it, others tell you to go for it. What is true, what not? Is it really easy to earn money through PLR articles and if so, how would that work?
Firstly, I’d like to tell you the downside of PLR articles. Usually, you can find them on various membership sites offered as “unique” and “fresh” content for every new month. I’ve been a member for quite a while of one of those sites and wasn’t impressed that much with it. Usually, the quality of articles you write yourself exceed the quality of PLR’s. On the other hand, you won’t be the only one using these as a lot of lazy people just copy and paste them into their blogs, ebooks, websites, articles…whatever.
Still, even if the quality was top notch, we’d still be struggling with the duplicate content problem. Obviously, the only way around this is to rewrite them yourself. However, many of you that have done this already should know that it takes you almost as much of time as writing a completely new article yourself! So is it really worth it?
It can be, if you do it right and if you know where to go. For example, you should always look for fresh PLR launches and offers. As of my own experience, I don’t trust some membership sites anymore but you might have made better experiences.
Places to go for this would be the warriorforum, for example. There are just always people coming up with their latest PLR pack and if you’re quick, you can have lots of unique articles at hand that nobody else is using, yet. Again, I’d recommend you to rewrite these but only a bit so you don’t run into the duplicate content trap. Don’t be as lazy as everyone else, be unique and you will see success. It just needs some effort!
So how can you actually make money of them? That’s quite easy. As content is king in todays internet world and as ebooks are still exceeding audio and video content by far, you can go many different routes with your fresh PLR content.
Write articles from them, put them on your website, use them for blog posts, compile many of them into an ebook (hey, you got a complete product at hand!) or make short reports to give away for free so people don’t have to make a hard decision when opting into your list. From there on, it’s all about leveraging!
